Happy Thursday!
It’s amazing what happens when we connect with people and express our gratitude to them. So many people are discouraged, and I get discouraged too. However, there is nothing that encourages me more than seeing others encouraged!
That, my friend, is not my saying. It’s from a Revolutionary named Luba Rokpelnis.
Here’s what else she wrote recently:
Thank you for your excellent book. You addressed a great need in our homes, churches, and all relationships. We all need to be more grateful and also need to express our gratitude instead of keeping it inside or assuming that the other person knows.
The first person with whom I started this challenge was my husband. We had a good relationship, but his reaction to receiving the thank you notes was astounding! He started writing me even more often than I wrote to him. This simple thing has transformed our marriage!
Also, I wrote a thank you note to some friends with whom I have been in contact but not constantly. One texted me, said that she received my card, and said that it made her day. The other one wrote me back, even though she lives in Canada.
I also met some ladies at a retreat which I attended at the end of March. After exchanging contact information with them, I wrote four of them already. One was just amazed that I would write to her and was so glad to make a friend (even though she’s old enough to be my mother). The other lady also wrote to me and asked me for my prayers.
You will go through difficult times. You will have days when you don’t feel like writing notes.
When that time comes…DO IT. Write the note.
And then…share your story with me, so I can inspire others with it.
With Gratitude,
Matt
