I quickly tore off a sheet of tiny yellow pad paper and scribbled these words across it:
That was months ago. It’s still where I left it on the bathroom mirror. Thank you notes don’t have to be elaborate pieces of artwork. Certainly, there is a time and place for beautiful thank you cards (and I have a ton of them from a client of mine, Tiny Prints). But sometimes, writing “thank you” in the spur of the moment on a piece of yellow pad paper…or post-it note…or the back of an envelope…or on a white board…or anywhere you can think of, has just the right effect. The point is to write it. Anytime. Anywhere. With anything. To anyone. Just write.
